RJC Men's Club Origin
The Mens Club was organized by Rabbi Jack Sable in the same year that the Riverdale Jewish Center started, and has been in existence ever since. There are no restrictions as far as membership is concerned. Men with any religious beliefs are welcome, including secular Jews. Membership at the Riverdale Jewish Center is not necessary, but would be preferred. Our social activities consist of a monthly meeting (except for July and August) with a breakfast and guest speaker. The topics may be on religious or secular subjects. Our main objective is to give any monies we raise to worthy charities of our community.
