RJC CALL OUT SYSTEM

RJC uses a computer based call out service for funeral and other announcements. This service enables us to place a call to all our members at one time. If for any reason during a callout you do not get the complete message you may call 877-698-3261, follow the directions and input your phone number to hear any RJC call-outs within the last five days. Please contact David Winter with any questions or comments about this service.

Cultivating Sanctity

The lobby area outside the main sanctuary is a designated Quiet Zone. We ask people to socialize in the extensive areas available outside of this area.

We plead for self restraint on the part of worshipers.  At the very least, accept with grace the reminders of those who respectfully request that you limit your conversations.

Your cooperation represents a crucial contribution to the serenity, beauty and warmth of worship in the RJC.

RJC Women

For a contribution of $10, RJC Women will send a card to honor, congratulate or memorialize your loved ones. Please call 796-1695 to send a card.

Attention Doctors
During Shabbat, there is a phone for your use in the small room just past the Hashkama room. For a key to this room, please see Victor Fein.
Shiva Minyan Hotline
An EMERGENCY shiva minyan hotline phone has been installed in the Beit Midrash so that batei avel can reach the Beit Midrash to recruit minyan participants at the last minute. If you find yourself short of minyan participants, please dial the RJC main number 548-1850 around the minyan time and dial EXTENSION 18. Please call only around minyan time to ensure that people will be available.
FYI
The OU has just published an excellent booklet, Basic Guide To Keeping Kosher for Private Household Employees. It is intended for babysitters, housekeepers and nurses who find themselves in a kosher household. For copies call 212-613-8285.
